A tree represents quiet strength, beauty, longevity and peacefulness - an ideal memorial to a person's life.
In 2002, we implemented a Memorial Tree Planting Program in partnership with Memory Woods Canada.  Each family who entrusts their care to us will have a tree planted in memory of their loved in the area of Algonquin Provincial Park in beautiful Northern Ontario. Each tree we plant is not only a symbol of hope but a sign of a new beginning. It will stand tall as a living tribute to the memory of a loved one. In conjunction with the Ministry of the Natural Resources the Forest Authority, Memory Woods has planted over 29,000 trees that will shelter our wildlife, reduce water and wind erosion and contribute to the purity of the air we breathe.  They will ensure that generations to come will know the beauty of a green planet.  It is our hope that the planting of this tree can bring comfort to the families we serve.
